We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hands to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, efficiency, and supporting a busy kitchen operation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation duties.
  • Maintain clean workstations and comply with WHS standards at all times.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher efficiently throughout service.
  • Occasionally support front-of-house staff with glassware cleaning.
  • Perform additional cleaning and preparation duties as directed by the Head Chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a kitchen hand or similar kitchen support role – this is a must!
  • Must be available to work a rotating roster including weekends and Tuesday nights – this is a must!
  • Lunch kitchen hand shifts may also be available during peak periods for those with additional availability.
  • A current Police Check is required for applicants over 18 years old.
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate required – can be completed prior to commencement if not already held.
  • A strong work ethic, willingness to take direction, and a positive team attitude.
